In a rare, redeeming move by the year 2020, we are offered some positive news: Hamilton is coming to Disney Plus! That’s right, the award-winning rap musical with its original Broadway cast will be streaming this Friday. This movie night is perfectly positioned for the 4th of July weekend and I am not throwing away my shot!
The scene is set on our table with a mix of Broadway flash and American history. A lighted letter board gets top billing as the centerpiece and offers a theatrical touch. I used these vintage flag placemats topped with gold chargers, black plates, and simple gold stars which are reminiscent of the Hamilton logo.

We can’t wait! This promises to be a unique movie night experience blending history, pop culture, and creativity like no other. If for some reason you’ve been holding out on Disney Plus, this is a great time to take the plunge.
