Suburban Soiree

Christmas Cereal Station

ChristmasAmy WileyComment

If you remember my post on Easy Mornings with Overnight Guests, you'll know I'm all about self-serve breakfast.  I have a festive cereal station set up for the kids (and my husband!).

I started off with three boxes of holiday cereal.  Now, if you came here for some tips on perfecting a Paleo lifestyle, I'm sorry but you're in the wrong place.  I'm not afraid of a little sugar.  I've often said breakfast is our worst event.  I pack healthy lunches and serve healthy dinners, but breakfast is just about getting out the door. So there you go.  These are a treat even for our breakfast slacker selves.  Look how fun!

I have all kinds of glass jars (from Target) that I use in my pantry.  I emptied out three, ran them through the dishwasher and filled them with cereal.

My little bowls from the Target Dollar Spot are getting lots of use.

So far the Cinnamon Vanilla Lucky Charms are the most popular.  The little scoops are from Hobby Lobby.

If you're into all the seasonal treats, this is a fun way to start the day... or end it with a late-night snack.

I hope your day and your season are off to a delicious start!
