Five Simple Ways to Fall It Up and Have the Best Autumn

FallAmy WileyComment

I don't know if you heard but apparently it's October already?  Here are some ways to indulge in the beauty of this cozy, delicious season:

  1. Take photos with the foliage.  No need for a professional photographer, no need to look perfect, just get out there with the leaves or at the pumpkin patch and grab some fall photos.  Take a selfie, take some of your kids, take some with friends... whatever works!  Print them, frame them, and store them with your fall decor.  You will be so glad you did.

  2. Sip the Season.  Some things are basic for a reason... everyone loves them!  Grab a seasonal coffee, cookie, or whatever treat makes you smile.  Life is short... have a pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream.

  3. Put on a Playlist. Search your streaming service of choice and you'll find countless cozy, fall-themed playlists.  Put it on in the kitchen while you make dinner.  Play it in the car while you look at the leaves.  Add a fall soundtrack to your day.

  4. Share a Fall Blessing.  Grab a little mum with your groceries and drop it off at an older neighbor's house.  Take a latte to a friend at work.  Buy some candy corn for that friend who loves it.  Just grabbing a little something seasonal along the way of your day-to-day errands is an easy way to brighten someone else's day.  You never know how much they might need it.

  5. Play Hostess. Open your home.  Don't overthink it.  Share your cute fall porch and favorite soup recipe and fall decor with others.  People don't want perfection, they just want an invitation.

Don't forget some Halloween napkins.  My collection is cute, not creepy, so all can enjoy!
