Movie Night: Peter Rabbit

Movie Night, EasterAmy WileyComment

Good things come to those who wait... it's true!  My kids begged to see Peter Rabbit in the theater, but we waited until it was out on On Demand/DVD.   I even found some cute Peter Rabbit napkins and pasta on clearance at World Market.  Our patience paid off in the cutest of ways!

This table setting is so bright and cheery it just makes you smile.  I pulled out a few Easter items in honor of the beloved little rabbit.

The pretty bunny vase is from Target and my sweet friend at Living Designs made the monogram.

I used my beloved Target Dollar Spot bowls and bunny plates I've had forever.

These are from the now-defunct website Celebration Fantastic.  Does anyone remember it?  I wish it was still around!

Aren't the napkins darling?  I put the extras away in my Easter stash.

Not only was the colorful pasta perfect for the movie, it made for a quick and easy dinner.  I just added a jar of sauce and some grilled chicken.

I found these popcorn "carrots" around Easter and stashed them away for our movie treat.

This was so much more budget-friendly than going to the theater and it is always relaxing and comfortable to be at home.

The movie itself was really cute and enjoyable.  We all laughed a lot and that's the sign of a great Friday night!
