A Magical Supper Club: Disney Theme

If you don't have a group of friends who REALLY love food, I highly suggest you seek some out.  We do a monthly supper club with the sweetest group of people and I love that one of the many things we share in common is an unbridled enthusiasm for a good meal.

We also all share a love of Disney vacations.  We recently spent time in Disneyland with some of our supper club friends.  We all enjoy those types of trips... the planning (it's really half the fun for someone like me), the rides, and the treats!  (See my favorite Disneyland treats here.)  Another family in our group recently visited Disneyland Paris and we all couldn't wait to hear about their trip.  So, I thought it would fun to do a Disney night of supper club!  Everyone jumped on board just as enthusiastically as I had hoped.  Here's a look at all the delicious food we enjoyed.

I contributed a meat and cheese tray.  I used a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter for the cheese and regular and mini pepperoni for the meat.  They aren't as perfectly proportioned as I would like, but you get the idea.

I also did a Mickey fruit platter.  This was so easy!

One of our guests brought broccoli cheese soup and served it in bread bowls, like you can get at Pacific Wharf.  It was divine.

We also had Mickey-shaped homemade pretzels we dipped in queso.  Y'all.  I want to put my face in these right now.

Another friend brought the most delicious empanadas.  It's true... everything good tastes even better when it's Mickey-shaped.

Look at this!  "Up Cakes!"

We also had Ohana bread pudding with caramel sauce.  I can't even tell you how great this was.

Our sweet friend also fired up the blender and made Dole Whips!  I'm so sad I didn't get a photo.  I had no idea you could re-create them so well at home but she nailed it.

Our tables were really casual and simple.  I used three paper plates to make Mickeys.  We ended up using all our plates with all the food we had to enjoy.

I let my daughter have free reign with the kids table.  I like letting my kids design and set tables. I think it's good practice!

I picked up these straws at for all the kids to use and take home.  I love them!

Friends who are willing to embrace a silly theme and get excited with you are what make gatherings like this so enjoyable.  It was truly magical!
