20 Days to Celebrate in 2020

Something to CelebrateAmy WileyComment

It’s no secret we love a celebration around here. Finding little reasons to do something out of the ordinary is one of the ways I make life fun in my household. While the “big” holidays line up rather perfectly this year, (hello Halloween on a Saturday and Christmas on a Friday!) there are many other days worth celebrating. 2020 offers a leap year, the Olympics, and a presidential election. Buckle up and get ready to party! I’ve complied my top 20 favorites into a handy printable for you. Click here to get yours!

Here’s to a great year!

Movie Night: Christmas with the Kranks

I’m not sure how it happened, but we managed to forget about Christmas with the Kranks. Well, we brought it back into the rotation this year and found ourselves laughing all the way! My son and I watched it while he was sick, then decided it needed to be a family movie night. The “Free Frosty” theme had us cracking up, so that’s how I set the scene for our table. I found the little snowman at Walmart. Everything else I had on hand. Our “I’m Having a Meltdown” napkins were a perfect fit!

For dinner, “hickory honey ham” jumped from the movie to our menu. (Although we opted for a version that did not come in a can!)

This silly, crazy movie is the perfect way to unwind during the hustle and bustle of the season. A funny movie, some Christmas candy, and our Holiday Movie Night Printable are all you need for a festive, snuggly family time. Don’t forget some movie night napkins!

I hope your weekend is full of Christmas cheer!
